Simulator training for learner motorists
Traffic Police require Class 2B, 2A, 2, 3, and 3A learners to complete three simulator modules before the practical test, with stated lesson-count eligibility and a two-year validity for taking that test.

Driving and riding simulator training is mandatory for learner motorists who wish to obtain Class 2B, 2A, 2, 3, or 3A driving licences (SPF, Simulator Training for Learner Motorists).
Learners may book the modules and find payable fees and slot availability from Bukit Batok Driving Centre, ComfortDelGro Driving Centre, or Singapore Safety Driving Centre (SPF, Simulator Training for Learner Motorists).
Traffic Police describe the training as a realistic, experiential and immersive driving or riding experience without being physically on the road, including practice of defensive driving and riding in a safe and controlled environment. Scenarios are based on the top 10 causes of traffic accidents resulting in injuries, such as high-speed cornering on expressways, cyclists in blind spots, and driving and riding in wet weather (SPF, Simulator Training for Learner Motorists).
Learner motorists will only be allowed to take the practical driving or riding test upon successful completion of the simulator training. That practical test must be taken within 2 years of completion of the course (SPF, Simulator Training for Learner Motorists).

Three modules
The training consists of 3 modules. All 3 must be completed before learner motorists can attempt their practical driving or riding tests. Medical conditions
All learner motorists who do not require any modifications to operate a vehicle are required to attempt the simulation training (SPF, Simulator Training for Learner Motorists).
Learners who experience adverse symptoms during a simulator module and wish to be exempted must consult a Singapore registered medical practitioner or specialist. The doctor would also be required to certify if the learner motorist is fit to drive. Supporting documents from the doctor must be submitted to the senior tester of the respective test centre for assessment (SPF, Simulator Training for Learner Motorists).
