The Singapore Digital Driving Licence is a digital card in the Singpass app. SPF says it displays the holder's photograph, driving-licence number, vehicle classes, licence status, demerit points, and Certificate of Merit eligibility (SPF, Singapore Driving Licence).
It is an alternative official identification document for drivers in Singapore. Access is through the Singpass app, from the same section as the Digital IC; authentication is required to reveal the full details (SPF, Singapore Driving Licence).
SPF says the Digital DL uses an animated, holographic lion crest to help detect tampering. The crest is absent or static in a screenshot or recording, and the app allows the display on its homepage to be hidden (SPF, Singapore Driving Licence).
SPF's FAQ states that the Digital DL does not replace the photocard licence, that a screenshot should not be used as proof, and that the Digital DL is not meant for driving overseas (SPF, Singapore Driving Licence).
