Eligibility
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) says drivers who have maintained a continuous demerit-point-free driving record for the past 3 years are eligible for a Certificate of Merit (COM). The SPF e-service lets drivers check their COM eligibility (SPF, Check Eligibility for Certificate of Merit).
Insurance
SPF says entitlement to a discount on a vehicle-insurance premium is subject to the terms of participating insurance companies. Any such discount is over and above the driver's No-Claim Bonus (NCB); the SPF page does not state a discount amount or make the discount automatic (SPF, Check Eligibility for Certificate of Merit).
Coverage debt
- SPF does not publish the participating insurers' individual terms, discount amounts, or redemption procedures on this page.
