LTA’s OneMotoring site groups its traffic-information services under Traffic Information & Road Works. It links to traffic.smart, traffic cameras, road-project information, and the live Traffic Updates, Road Closures & Road Works service (LTA, Traffic Information & Road Works).

Check current traffic conditions

LTA describes traffic.smart as an interactive map for ERP rates, parking, real-time road conditions, traffic alerts, road works, and more. The traffic-updates map also provides selectable layers for traffic speed, incidents and alerts, cameras, ERP, and the Parking Guidance System; its speed legend runs from slow to fast (LTA, traffic.smart; LTA, Traffic Updates, Road Closures & Road Works).

LTA’s Traffic Cameras service lets users check live traffic-condition footage. The traffic-updates map separately lists incident types such as faulty traffic lights, flash floods, heavy traffic, major road works, road accidents, vehicle breakdowns, and other incidents (LTA, Traffic Information & Road Works; LTA, Traffic Updates, Road Closures & Road Works).

Check a closure or diversion

The LTA traffic-updates service can be viewed as a map or a list. Its road-closure and road-work entries may show the affected location, closure dates or times, an alternative route, and a link to a closure map. The specific details depend on the notice; check the notice for the road and travel period you need (LTA, Traffic Updates, Road Closures & Road Works).

The service also identifies traffic incidents and event-related closures. Use LTA’s current notice for the latest published dates and route information rather than relying on an old closure notice or map (LTA, Traffic Updates, Road Closures & Road Works).

Report a faulty traffic light

LTA’s contact page lists faulty traffic lights and street lights as matters for its customer service officers. It gives 1800 2255 582 for local calls and +65 6225 5582 for calls from overseas (LTA, Contact Us).

The same LTA contact channel can be used to request Expressway Monitoring and Advisory System (EMAS) assistance on expressways (LTA, Contact Us).
